Abstract
The objective of this study was to analyze the impact of a psychoeducational program with a humanistic approach on the introjects present in the exercise of sexuality of a group of university women. It describes how the participants developed during the sessions in a psycho-educational group with an empathic, congruent and unconditionally accepting environment to develop their emotional expression and identify them introjects. With a comprehensive methodology and descriptive approach, the intervention was carried out in a group of four university women who manifested difficulties in the exercise of sexuality, which as initial condition showed the greatest problem the presence of introjects, these derived from religion, culture, the role of gender and family traditions. Introjects limited and detrimentally impede responsible and free decisions, generating internal conflicts and emotions of anger and sadness. The situations were addressed considering the person-centered approach and some Gestalt techniques from the perspective of humanistic psychology and contributing to conflict resolution processes considered in education for peace. The semi-structured interview was used and, in a pre-intervention design, differences in the responses of two questionnaires were analyzed to identify introjects. Psychoeducational program with a humanistic approach impacted on the changes in the identification of introjects with respect to the participants' exercise of sexuality. The university students managed to integrate their experiences with the information received in a more conscientious and responsible way, with greater self-knowledge and clear identification of their sexual needs in order to be able to exercise their sexuality more fully and satisfactorily.
